Product Packing after Party.

Ive been packing up my customer orders the same way for almost 6 years... So I felt it was time for change. The one part of the process of a party that really made me cringe was the packing up part. It would take me hours and I was never organized or always running out of tulle or crinkle paper. So I thoight of this new way.  Let me know what you think.

I purchased these kraft bags in bulk from papermart.com along with the tissue paper and some washi tape.
The cards used are the 3x4 cards out of a Project Life scrapbooking kit (found at Michaels or BeckyHiggins.com)

I write a little note to each customer to personally thank them for their order and loyalty and voila! In no time I can have a party ready to fly out the door!

How do you package your orders to set yourself apart from other consultants?

Spooky (or Sweet!) Halloween Samples

I remember when I first started selling Scentsy, each year at Halloween I would pass out wax samples to the parents of each trick or treater.

For some reason, maybe laziness, I got complacent and stopped doing the everyday fun things that I did to really boost by business. I had stopped 'getting out of my comfort zone.' I had stopped being so brave.

This past year I realized that it's time to set boundaries and time to be brave again.

After seeing my sister and Director, Jenna O'Grady's Halloween handouts I knew I wanted to make some to pass out too! I mean how could you not?! Aren't these the most precious things you've ever seen?
The little candy fold outs where found at Dollar Tree. You get six in each package.
I used the silicone mold from the Scentsy Family Store for my samples. Warning: these do take lots of wax so be prepared to use a few bars. I think for a special occasion like this, it's totally worth it!
Then I made this little wallet size card to slip in with the wax sample. I used Rhonna Designs app on my iPhone (available in Android and maybe even Windows now too!) it's one of my favorite apps!

Notice too how I used two different fragrances to make a cute little recipe. Simply poor the wax half way up the mold, wait for it to cool completely, then poor the other scent the rest of the way.
Remember to add your business card... Preferrably with your photo. There is just something about a photo that people don't want to throw away. Business card magnet?! Even better!
You can right click and save this photo and use it for yourself if you'd like!

Happy Halloween and have fun with those trick or treaters!

Think PINK October Team Challenge

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. As a Scentsy Family team, we are joining together to raise for breast cancer research.

What does that mean for you? It means that you have the opportunity to promote and sell our current charitable cause warmer, Ribbons of Hope. $7 from every sale of this warmer will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

In addition to selling these beautiful warmers, you can use your parties and events to talk about breast cancer research and early detection. Take cash donations in addition to your customer's orders. Here's a great resource on Myths and Facts about Breast Cancer.

If you know someone currently fighting breast cancer, host a fundraising party just for her. Make it a celebration! Use Velata to create pink themed snacks.

At the end of the month, we'll be collecting any cash donations you've received from customers, hosts, friends, and family. The consultant on our team with the most money raised (in addition to the Ribbons of Hope warmers sold....those will count for $7 each), will win a happy mail Pink themed bundle.

I'm excited about this challenge. It's a way for us to spread the word about breast health and breast cancer awareness and a great way for us to support those people we know personally who are currently fighting breast cancer.

{If you do have a person in mind that you would like to collect donations for during this challenge, we would love for you to do that. Simply keep track of your donations so you can participate in our challenge, but instead of turning the money into me, donate your money raised directly to the individual.}
