Velata Transition Fall/Winter 2014

It's transition time! For Velata, August is a transition month -- the time we prepare to switch from the Spring/Summer 2014 Catalog season to the new Fall/Winter 2014 Catalog season, which begins Sept. 1. During transition, we release new catalogs one month before the new items are available for purchase so you have time to plan and prepare for the selling season ahead. 

 

To help you make this transition seamless, read through the information below so you know what to expect in the weeks ahead. 

  

What to Expect in August  

Catalogs: 

• The new Fall/Winter 2014 Catalogs will be available in packs of 20 for $7 (USD)/$8 (CAD) in the Scentsy Family Store. From Aug. 1-31, they can be purchased at a discounted price of $6.30 (USD)/$7.20 (CAD).
• Spring/Summer 2014 Catalogs will be available in packs of 25 at a discounted price of $3.50 (USD)/$4 (CAD) from Aug. 1-31, while supplies last.
• On Aug. 1, a PDF file of the Fall/Winter 2014 Catalog will be available for download from the "Catalog" link on the Resources tab of your Workstation.

Starter Kits: 

• From Aug. 1-31, the new Consultant Starter Kit will include Spring/Summer 2014 Catalogs AND Fall/Winter 2014 Catalogs at no additional cost. Beginning Aug. 15, Starter Kits will include current and newly developed order forms (see New Business Tools section below for more information). 
• Beginning Sept. 1, the new Consultant Starter Kit will include Fall/Winter 2014 catalogs.

Shipping Times:

• Our manufacturing, picking, packing, and shipping teams need to switch cleanly and completely from the old product line to the new product line. One of the main reasons Velata has a two-week shipping window after an order is placed (even though we typically ship much faster) is to allow for additional time to process orders during the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter transitions. Be sure to communicate realistic shipping times to your customers so they know what to expect.

• The monthly training call is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. MT. Register on the Training Center or click here.

August 10 Percent Off Sale

From Aug. 1-31, save 10 percent on all products in the Spring/Summer 2014 Catalog. Please note: The sale excludes Closeout items.

New Business Tools

Order Forms:

• New order forms have been developed to support the new shipping policy which goes into effect Sept. 2. The new forms will be available in the Scentsy Family Store in packs of 50 for $5 (USD)/$6 (CAN). From Aug. 15-31, they can be purchased at a 10% discount: $4.50 (USD)/$5.40 (CAN). 
• Order forms that feature the old shipping policy will become obsolete beginning Sept. 1. They will be available for purchase through Aug. 31 in packs of 100 for $3 (USD)/$4 (CAD).

10 Percent Off Sale Flier:

• To help you announce the sale to customers, a PDF flier promoting the sale will be available for download from the Monthly Promotions section of the Resources tab of your Workstation beginning Aug. 1.
• There will not be a discontinued items flier this season as all Spring/Summer 2014 products will carry on through the Fall/Winter 2014 season.

What to Expect in September

From midnight to noon PDT Sept. 1, the Workstation and your Personal Website (PWS) will be updated with the new Fall/Winter 2014 products.

During this time, a message will let visitors know the sites are temporarily unavailable. Please do not contact Consultant Support with any systems issues or concerns until this message is removed.

Once the sites go live, so do the new products! We appreciate your patience while we make this transition, and hope you are as excited as we are to introduce the new Fall/Winter 2014 items!
