Global demand for chocolate has outpaced supply, which is driving up chocolate prices worldwide. To
Why did the price raise $3 in Canada (and not $2 like in the U.S.)?
The Canadian peg rate of 1.2 is used to calculate pricing for all products. The resulting number is then rounded to the nearest whole dollar. In the case of Premium Belgian Chocolate, the rounding increased the price to $11.
What is the difference between Premium Belgian Chocolate and Meltables?
Meltables is a confectionery chocolate (or compound chocolate), which contains palm kernel oil instead of cocoa butter (used in real chocolate). The use of palm kernel oil makes confectionery chocolate more versatile in craft and candy making as it doesn’t require tempering (heating and cooling). Confectionery chocolate offers a chocolaty flavor without the higher price of real chocolate.
How much do Meltables cost?
$5 (USD)/$6 CAD) for 6 ounces/170 grams (net weight).
Do Meltables come in the same pouch as Premium Belgian Chocolate?
No. Meltables come in a resealable, BPA-free, and microwave-safe pouch. Please see the Fall/Winter 2014 Catalog for a photo of the packaging. Meltables pouches do not have a built-in pour spout like Premium Belgian Chocolate pouches.
What are the ingredients in Meltables?
Do Meltables contain gluten, nuts, or GMOs?
Meltables are gluten-free, peanut-free, tree nut-free, and they are made in a facility that does not process nuts. They may contain GMO ingredients.

Premium Belgian Chocolate pouches from $7 (USD)/$8 (CAD) to $9 (USD)/$11 (CAD).

Why is Velata’s Host Rewards program changing?
At its launch in 2012, Velata adopted Scentsy Fragrance’s Host Rewards program for simplicity. As Velata has evolved and grown its product line to offer higher-priced items, like the Raclette Tabletop Grill and Ceramic Knives, the Host Rewards structure no longer supports the brand’s product offering. A new program was needed to offer higher priced products as Half-Price items and to help Velata Consultants generate more PRV, commissions, and promote in rank — all of which are important contributors of growth for Consultants’ businesses as well as the Velata brand. With additional tiers and no cap on Half- Price items, the new Host Rewards program is more compelling for customers and will help incentivize and encourage larger parties while keeping all Velata products available as Half-Price items.
What are the changes with the new Host Rewards program?

If I open a party before Sept. 2, which Host Rewards chart applies?
If the party closes before Sept. 2, the original Host Rewards chart applies. If the party closes on or after Sept. 2, the new Host Rewards chart applies.
Why are Perpetual Party Rewards no longer available?
Perpetual Party Rewards were removed from the Host Rewards program to support offering all Velata products as Half-Price items. With the new program, Hosts enjoy increased Host Credit while still earning Half-Price Host Rewards.

No.

- There is no longer a fee for unused Host Rewards.

Free shipping will no longer be provided for qualifying party orders. A 6-percent standard shipping fee will be added to qualifying party orders. Direct-ship, PWS, and individual orders will be now charged an additional delivery fee of $6 (USD)/$9 (CAD). Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO will be charged a 16-percent base shipping fee, plus the additional delivery fee.
Why is the shipping policy changing?
To support Velata’s expanded product offering and continue to offer larger, heavier products (like the 23-pound Raclette Tabletop Grill), a revision to the shipping policy was needed. It’s important to note that new pricing remains competitive, and in many cases, lower than other direct-selling companies.
Why is there now a shipping fee and a direct-ship fee?
Although Velata is collecting a shipping fee, the brand will continue to subsidize shipping for party orders. The direct-ship fee covers the added cost of shipping party orders to multiple addresses.
When does the new shipping policy take effect?

Yes. Shipping charges will be based on the Host base amount of the party order. No additional shipping charges will apply to orders shipped to a single address.
Do the shipping policy changes apply to Scentsy Fragrance?
No.
Do taxes apply to shipping charges?
If your state charges tax on shipping, taxes will be applied to the total shipping amount (standard shipping fee plus any applicable direct-ship fee). Contact Consultant Support if you’re not sure whether or not your state charges tax on shipping.
New Order Form:
Why is there a new order form?
A new order form was created to reflect the updated shipping policy and to ensure Consultants calculate and collect the correct amount for shipping from each customer.
Is there a new form for the U.S. and Canada?
There is now one order form for both the U.S. and Canada, which contains U.S. and Canadian English and Canadian French. The new form does not contain U.S. Spanish, and there is no longer a separate U.S. Spanish-specific form.
When will the new form be available?
The new forms will be available in the Scentsy Family Store in packs of 50 for $5 (USD)/$6 (CAD) beginning Aug. 15. From Aug. 15-31, they can be purchased at a 10% discount: $4.50 (USD)/$5.40 (CAD).
I have lots of old order forms. Can I use these or do I have to buy the new ones?
To ensure the best customer experience and to accurately calculate and collect shipping, we recommend purchasing and using the new order forms beginning Sept. 2.
